` A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br /> e <br /> feet from the site, it is ATC's judgment that it is possible, but unlikely, that the wells have been <br /> impacted or are threatened by petroleum hydrocarbons from the site <br /> Potential impacts to nearby Wells Nos 1 through 6 can not accuratelybe evaluated until the <br /> extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon impacted groundwater has been defined <br /> ' The remainingseven wells are located eater than 1 000 fee <br /> gr t from the site or are located <br /> upgradient or crossgradient from the site Based on this information, it is ATC's judgment that it <br /> ' is unlikely that these wells have been impacted or are threatened by petroleum hydrocarbons from <br /> the site <br />' An on-site search for potential receptors was conducted on November 16, 1998 by ATC <br /> personnel There is an on-site groundwater supply well (DV) that has been impacted by BTEX <br />' constituents The well is located approximately 36 feet south of well MW3 The well <br /> construction log for this well was not on file with the DWR in Sacramento A slough was <br /> observed approximately 10 feet north of well MW2 The slough runs east to west and crosses the <br />' middle of the site There was no water observed in the slough on November 16, 1998, but in a <br /> conversation with site personnel, ATC was informed that the slough generally contains water <br /> during the winter months Duck Creek is located approximately 1,200 feet north of the site No <br /> other open ponds or streams were located within 2,000 feet of the site <br /> 6.0 DISCUSSION <br /> Based on the analytical results and field observations, soil and groundwater beneath the location <br /> of the former USTs are impacted by TPHg and BTEX The extent of impacted soil and <br />' groundwater is unknown None of the soil or groundwater samples collected from the beneath <br /> the location of the former USTs contained oxygenate fuel additives In the judgment of ATC, <br /> additional site investigation activities are necessary <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> w\16393Veportfturm doc 6 <br /> I <br />
