Two soil samples were collected beneath the
UST at 13 feet below ground surface (bgs) and one soil sample was
collected beneath the dispenser at 4 feet bgs.
05/03/1995 On this date EHD file an Unauthorized Release Report and a Notification r
of Hazardous Waste Discharge after receiving positive analytical results
for diesel in the three soil samples collected at the time of the UST 1
removal. The.dispenser was located approximately 5 feet south of the UST
and evidenced the highest level of diesel contamination at'4 feet bgs.
08/08/1995 Environmental Health Department(EHD)placed this site into the Local
Oversight Program on this date and a Notice of Responsibility was sent to
the responsible party.
02/20/04 On this date the UST and dispenser area was over, excavated to I0.feet bgs
and.4 sidewall soil samples and one groundwater sample were collected
for analysis. Two of the soil samples results and the water sample result
were positive for low concentrations of TPH=diesel. No other
contaminants tested for were detected.
03/08/2004 Date of the H2OGEOL'S Report of Former Diesel Tank Removal and Pit
Water Sampling which contained analytical results forthe first phase of
excavation completed 2/20/04.
2/10/05- A second phase of excavation to enlarge the former UST pit was
03/16/05 completed during this time with EHD oversight. The soil sample results at 19 feet bgs were below detection
limits (ND) and the water sample result was .9 mg/L TPH-diesel. No
other contaminants tested for were detected. H2OGEOL's performed this
work and submitted the EDF information to Geo-Tracker,but a complete
report was never submitted.
11/21/2005 By this date the UST excavation had been backfilled and a self directed
Environmental Site Assessment phase II had been conducted by Arcadis
Environmental.
