INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Nick Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum Inc ,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc (AGE) has prepared the enclosed report for the former Mel Bokides Petroleum fuel facility <br /> located at 2191 Navy Drive,Stockton,California(the site) The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 <br /> Site structures, previous boring and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br />' Thescope of work included the installation of a deep, depth-discrete screened monitoring well, <br />' development of the deep monitoring well and multiple monitoring events of the ground water <br /> monitoring well network on the site This report documents collection and analysis of ground water <br /> samples and the interpretation of the results of the ground water monitoring event <br /> IThe site history and a description of previous work performed at the site were presented in Closure <br /> Summary Report, dated 07 May 2004,prepared by AGE <br /> I <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES ' <br /> Is fAal <br />'• The scope of work was outlined An the AGE-prepared Site Assessment Work Plan - Revised <br /> Addendum,dated 27 December 200 j__rid approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />' Department by letter dated 14 January 2005 Field work was performed in accordance with <br /> guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> 1 <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT <br />' On 14 February2005 one dee soil boring was advanced at the site for the collection of soil samples <br /> p g <br /> and the installation of a ground water monitoring well(MW-9) The monitoring well was developed <br />' and sampled on 17 February and again on 01 April 2005 <br />' 2 1 1 Drilling and Sampling <br />' A CME-75HT truck mounted drill rig was utilized to advance 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem <br /> augers to 65 feet below surface grade(bsg),the total depth of the boring The drill rig and three-man <br /> crew were supplied by Cascade Drilling of Rancho Cordova,California Auger returns generated by <br />' drilling were contamenzed in plastic and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> • <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
