MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY
Each soil boring will be completed as a single-level ground water monitoring wel4creened from
approximately 50 to 70 feet bsg. Following installation, each well will be developed to maximize
water flow and minimize the amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping
or bailing, and the top of each existing and newly installed well casing(well head)will be surveyed
to determine its elevation relative to mean sea level. Procedures for well installation, development
and survey are presented in Sections 4.2. and 4.3., respectively.
3.4. GROUND WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Following the installation of the new monitoring wells, ground water monitoring and samplin
activities will be conducted for all the monitoring wells and existing domestic an_d irrigation wells
on a quarterly basis until directed to modify or discontinue the monitoring program by the—y ?
CVRWQCB.Monitoring activities will include recording depth to groundwater measurements, and A S
collection of ground water samples for laboratory analysis by a DHS-certified laboratory for the
analytes noted in Section 3.2.Ground water sample collection protocols are described in Section 4.4.
3.5. PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS
Following each ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared presenting the
findings. Each report will include a description of work performed and the results of the groundwater
sampling and analysis. Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory
quality assurance/quality control(QA/QC)reports,and sample chain of custody documentation will
be presented in the quarterly report. Conclusions and recommendations will also be included, if
applicable. The report will be in a format acceptable to the CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and
signed by a California Registered Geologist.
4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California
Registered Geologist.Procedures for the well installation, well development, sampling are described
below. .
4.1. SOIL BORINGS AND SAMPLING
` ,r
Up to three soil borings may be advanced at the site to a depth of 70 feet bsg utilizing a truck-
Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc.
