Per Mr. Pena, the facility stopped doing oil changes and removed the used oil tank more than <br /> a year ago. <br /> Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (301, 404, 407, 605, 701) <br /> 301. A parts washer that is no longer in use was observed in the yard with oily liquid overflowing onto a <br /> wooden pallet and the surrounding soil. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could <br /> threaten human health or the environment. Immediately remove all stained soil and contaminated solids, <br /> and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed by May 10, 2013. <br /> 404. A metal trough of oily liquid, holding two empty used oil drums, was observed open in the yard. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste, or dispose of the waste inside and clean all hazardous wastes from the <br /> container. All hazardous wastes must be disposed of by a properly licensed hazardous waste hauler. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspegor.
