Conn Artley Flute Division) Nogales, AZ; turnkey design <br /> and installation of a full-scale pilot plant for treatment of mercury contaminated <br /> groundwater for Clorox Co., Oakland, CA. <br /> • Evaluation of alternatives to lagoon disposal of industrial wastewaters for IBM in <br /> Tucson, AZ; turnkey air stripping groundwater remediation system for Ampex in <br /> Sunnyvale, CA; conceptual design.for industrial wastewater pretreatment <br /> alternatives for Shasta Beverages in Kansas City, KS; groundwater and soil <br /> monitoring for Cyantek Chemicals in Mountain View, CA; pond closure plan for a <br /> major electronic instrument company; California DHS hazardous waste zone <br /> contract; design and construction of 1000 gpm groundwater remediation system for <br /> McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA consisting of high temperature air stripping, <br /> carbon adsorption, and fume incineration. <br /> • Served as Manager of Design for a $1 billion wastewater management program for <br /> Alexandria, Egypt. Supervised a staff of over 100 professional and technical staff <br /> in the Alexandria project office. The project is funded under a U.S. AID grant and <br /> is a joint venture of two U.S. firms in association with two Egyptian firms. <br /> Complete design and construction management services were provided for 11 <br /> collection system projects; five major pumping stations; 16 km of tunnel/jacked <br /> pipe up to 2.75 meters in diameter; two sewage treatment plants (50 mgd and <br /> 100 mgd capacity). Preliminary design on sludge handling, on-shore effluent <br /> conveyance, ocean outfall, additional collection system projects, and treatment <br /> plant expansions. <br /> RKA 4-87/24 <br />
