Because toluene was not detected in either <br /> soils or groundwater during our assessment, it is unlikely that the toluene was a result of <br /> contamination originating from the project site. Although blank water is periodically checked at <br /> the analytical laboratory prior to use, it is Kleinfelder's experience that blank water from the <br /> laboratory may on rare occasions be contaminated, depending on the blank waters source or <br /> potential contaminants in the lab.
