Copies of the laboratory analytical reports and COCs forms are included as Appendix
B.
SOIL EXCAVATION SAMPLING RESULTS
According to laboratory analytical results, TPHg was reported in the samples collected from the
south wall at EXS-1 and EXS-3 at concentrations of 1.2 and 1.9 milligram per kilogram (mg/kg),
respectively. TPHg was also reported in the samples collected from the bottom of the excavation
pit at EXB-1 and EXB-2 at concentrations of 1.0 and 280 mg/kg, respectively. All other soil
samples collected were reported below laboratory detection limits for TPHg. Soil analytical data
is presented on Table 1.
Apex created an isoconcentration map depicting TPHg remaining in the soil following the
excavation to determine the mass remaining in the soil. An isoconcentration map was drawn
using excavation samples collected from the sidewalls and bottom of the excavation pit.
Based on the soil data from the subject site (Table 2) and the TPHg in Soil Isoconcentration Map
(Figure 3), the extent of soil contamination remaining at the site is estimated at 1.7 gallons.
SOIL STOCKPILE DISPOSAL
Stockpiled soil was transported to Forward Landfill in Manteca, California for disposal by GCU
Trucking on September 24, 2013. No soil remains stockpiled at the site.
Copies of the non-hazardous waste manifests and disposal receipts are included as Appendix C.
BACKFILLING ACTIVITIES
Under the direction and supervision of Apex the entire excavation was backfilled. The soil used
to backfill the excavation was purchased from Munn and Perkins, Inc. of Escalon, California.
