'_i1T HEALTH <br /> Mr. Richard Brandes K 1_11I,SEMiCES <br /> ST Services <br /> 2801 Waterfront Road <br /> Martinez, CA 94553 <br /> REVIEW OF ENHANCED BIOREMEDIATION PILOT STUDY EVALUATION REPORT, <br /> SUPPORT TERMINALS OPERATING PARTNERSHIP,LP TERMINAL #29, 2941 NAVY <br /> DRIVE, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Staff of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Board) reviewed the <br /> 23 September 2004 Enhanced Bioremediation Pilot Study Evaluation Report(Report) submitted by <br /> HartCrowser on behalf of ST Services bulk fuel terminal 429 at 2941 Navy Drive in Stockton(site). <br /> The Report discusses the first six months of system operation, analytical results, and observations of <br /> trends in gradients, analytical results, and mass degradation and proposes to incorporate the evaluation <br /> of the system into a full-scale design and submit a Corrective Action Plan. <br /> Regional Board staff concurs that the results of the pilot study are favorable for the full scale injection <br /> of abacterial consortium, enzyme enhancements, and specialized nutrients as a full-scale remedial <br /> alternative for cleanup of petroleum pollution at the site. However, additional monitoring is needed to <br /> evaluate the concentrations in groundwater following the shut down of the system on 6 July 2004. By <br /> 12 November 2004, please submit a monitoring plan that provides for additional monitoring as part of <br /> the pilot study.
