CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br /> FOR <br /> STOCKTON TERMINALS TECHNICAL COMMITTEE <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The Stockton Terminals Technical Committee is composed of ARCO Products, ST <br /> Services, Tesoro Alaska Petroleum Company, and Time Oil . <br /> Specific sample station locations are established under direction of the <br /> Board's staff. <br /> Prior to construction, pians and specifications for ground water monitoring <br /> and/or extraction wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and <br /> approval . After construction, new wells are to be sampled and analyzed for <br /> the constituents below and added to the monitoring program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING IUnU( <br /> There are monitoring wells onsite as shown in Figure 1 . Monitoring <br /> wells with-Tr— phase petroleum product or visible sheen shall be monitored <br /> for product thickness and depth to ground water only. The ground water <br /> monitoring program for the monitoring wells and any additional wells [l�� <br /> installed subsequently excep�r wells containing free phase petroleum <br /> product or visible sheen, shall include the following: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Tye of Sample Frequency <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> Benzene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Toluene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Ethylbenzene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Xylene µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as diesel µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as gasoline µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Total Lead' Ag/l Grab Quarterly <br /> From wells which have not been monitored for total lead. If total <br /> lead is detected, the Discharger shall perform verification sampling <br /> within 30 days of submittal of the monitoring report. If the presence <br /> of total lead is not confirmed, no further test is required. If <br /> pollution is verified, the Discharger shall continue monitoring for <br /> total lead quarterly. <br />
