Extensive soil and ground water contamination is like- <br /> ly. <br /> SANTA FE PACIFIC PIPELINE PARTNERS (SFPP): <br /> No information available. <br /> SUPPORT TERMINAL SERVICES (ST): <br /> Soil and ground water contamination confirmed. Oil/water <br /> separator effluent goes to an unlined pond. <br /> STOCKTON PETROLEUM: <br /> SJLHD investigation found no soil or ground water contamina- <br /> tion. However, WCC report states there is contamination but <br /> does not substantiate the statement. <br /> TESORO: <br /> Ground water contamination has been confirmed. Oil/water sepa- <br /> rator effluent is discharged to ground in tank farm. <br /> TIME OIL: <br /> Soil and ground water contamination has been confirmed. Ex- <br /> tracted water goes to separator then to the sewer. <br /> TRANS-CAL TERMINAL: <br /> Facility receives 32% urea ammonium from docks 12 and 13. No <br /> pollution has been documented from this operation. <br /> UNOCAL: <br /> No information. A site plan shows there is a dry well on site. <br /> UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD (UPRR): <br /> No information. <br /> PHASE I INVESTIGATION: <br /> 32 piezometers installed, but no monitoring wells. <br /> 09-24-87 Staff inspection at SFPP finds oil/water separator and connec- <br /> tion to sewer are under construction. Staff samples ground <br /> water from excavation. <br /> 10-01-87 Staff memo finds major discrepancies in the Phase I investiga- <br /> tion report. <br /> 10-02-87 Staff letter requests PS to submit a technical report by 10-30- <br /> 87 which addresses requirements of previous letters and dis- <br /> crepancies in Phase I report. <br />
