RESULTS
SOUTHERN PACIFIC PIPE LINE, CO.
A 500-foot segment of each pipeline ("diesel", "main" and
' "Shell/Mobil" lines) was tested under a static pressure of 90 psi or
greater at five points approximately 100 feet apart.
' Results of the 27 February 1988 tests indicate:
o No leaks were detected on the "diesel" pipeline;
' o No leaks were detected on the "main" pipeline; and
o No leaks were detected on the "Shell/Mobil" pipeline
tTESORO REFINING, MARKETING AND SUPPLY CO.
' Approximatley 30-foot segments of three buried six-inch rack lines
identified as "no lead", regular" and "premium' were monitored during a 50
psi hydrostatic pressure test.
Results of the 27 February 1988 monitoring indicate:
' o No leaks were detected on the "premium" rack line;
o No leaks were detected on the "no lead" rack line; and
' o No leaks were detected on the "regular" rack line.
' While the monitoring information on the Tesoro rack lines might support the
hydrostatic test results, it should not be considered a certifiable test
because of the low hydrostatic pressure during monitoring.
1
1
