Installation of the two new extraction pumps has been
completed and the pumps are currently operating. We are
rapidly running out of storage space for the water and
are unable to discharge since an NPDES permit has not
been completed. A meeting with Ms. Pat Leary has been
scheduled for 4/8/93 at which time we hope to come to
agreement on the permit conditions.
2 . The hydropunch program has been completed and we are now
evaluating the data to determine well location.
Briefly, we were able to find a "non-detect" boundary
South of the plant, however, we did not find a "non-
detect" boundary to the Southwest. The agreement with
the Navy did not allow us to move farther West onto
other parcels of property and therefore we will need to
get additional access from the Navy to investigate that
corner of the plume.
If you have any questions or comments please contact me at
(714) 520-3389 .
Very Truly ,Yours, -
C.
