SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is a former Chevron service station located in a mixed commercial and residential area of <br /> Acampo, California (Figure 1) Former facilities included four steel, single-walled, fuel underground <br /> storage tanks (USTs) (one 10,000-gallon, two 6,000-gallon, and one 3,000-gallon), one steel waste <br /> oil UST (550-gallon), one steel heating oil UST (550-gallon), product line piping and pump islands, <br /> and station building The site is still an active Chevron service station that includes the following <br /> structures three 12,000-gallon gasoline USTs, product line piping and pump islands, and the station <br /> building <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Proposed activities in this work plan Include the destruction of three monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, <br /> and MW-3) The locations of the monitoring wells are shown on Figure 2 Field and laboratory <br /> procedures are presented in Attachment 1 <br /> ISite Specific Health and Safety Plan <br /> In accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Standard "Hazardous <br /> I Waste Operations and Emergency Response" guidelines (29 CFR 1910 120), and by California <br /> Occupational Health and Safety Administration (Cal-OSHA) "Hazardous Waste Operations and <br /> Emergency Response" guidelines (CCR Title 8, Section 5192), SECOR will prepare, a Site-Specific <br /> I Health and Safety Plan for use during fieldwork The field staff and contractors will review, the Site- <br /> Specific Health and Safety Plan before beginning field operations at the site <br /> I <br />
