CIH SERVICES
Mr. Charles E. Hunt, REHS
Page 2
March 21, 1991
Along with the asbestos warning sign posted at the
access road to the south portion of the property, the
northern perimeter of the contaminated area was cor-
doned-off with red barrier tape marked "Danger." The
access road was originally blocked with a dirt mound. We
have replaced the mounded dirt with an abandoned car
excavated from the old slough. The abandoned vehicle
was partially buried in clean top soil and not contaminat-
ed. In addition to the abandoned car, other non-contamin-
ated waste that had recently been illegally dumped at the
site was moved to a location adjacent to South M"Kinley
for removal later. According to Captain Lois H. M'Call,
Fire Marshall with French Camp Fire District, illegal dump-
ing is a continuing problem along this area of the road.
If you have any questions concerning this letter or
other matters regarding activities at the site, please do
not hesitate to contact me at 415-758-5899. Also, if in
passing the site you or Captain MCall observe any furth-
er dumping, or other disturbance of the property, please
phone me.
Sincerely,
.
