of potential environmental concern in the vicinity of the subject property are in conformance with <br /> the ASTM Standard E 1527-97. <br /> 1.3 LIMITING CONDITIONS <br /> Dames&Moore's site inspection included a walking inspection of areas that were accessible <br /> by foot,and a drive-by inspection of surrounding and adjacent properties,including those properties <br /> identified in the environmental database search. Conditions which limited Dames&Moore's ability <br /> to complete the scope of work were the inaccessibility of a portion of Building F during the site visit, <br /> and the closure of the Lathrop Fire Department which prevented a file review during the field visit. <br /> 1.4 LIMITATIONS OF THE ASSESSMENT <br /> The work conducted by Dames& Moore is limited to the services agreed to with Fremont <br /> Investment & Loan, and no other services beyond those explicitly stated should be inferred or <br /> implied. <br /> The conclusions presented in this report are professional opinions based solely upon Dames <br /> & Moore's visual observations of the site and the immediate site vicinity, and upon Dames & <br /> Moore's interpretations of the readily available historical information,conversations with personnel <br /> knowledgeable about the site, and other readily available information, as referenced in the report. <br /> These conclusions are intended exclusively for the purpose stated herein,at the site indicated, and <br /> for the project indicated. <br /> It is agreed that the information provided by Dames & Moore is for the exclusive use of <br /> Fremont Investment&Loan.
