In <br /> File No 20-3941-01 E01 KLEINFELDER <br /> August 20, 1996 <br /> 5 RESULTS <br /> 51 RESULTS OF CHEMICAL ANALYSIS SOIL <br /> i <br /> Sixty-two (62) soil samples were submitted under chain-of-custody procedures to Sequoia <br /> Analytical Laboratory of Sacramento, California Sequoia is a State of California Department of <br /> Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) certified laboratory for the analyses requested The soil <br /> samples selected for analysis were based on PID readings, field observations, and the objectives <br /> ' of the work scope The laboratory data sheets and Chain-of-Custody records are in Appendix E <br /> The soil samples were analyzed by Sequoia Analytical for the following <br /> ' • Benzene, Toluene, Eth lbenzene, Xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020/5030 <br /> • Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Referenced to Gasoline in the C6 to Cie <br /> carbon range (TPH-G) by EPA Method 8015M/5030 <br /> ' • Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the C8 to C25 carbon range (TPH-E) by EPA <br /> Method 8015M/3550 <br /> i • Total Lead by EPA Method 6010 (ICP) for all soil samples not analyzed for the entire <br /> TTLC CAM 17 Metals suite <br /> I • TTLC CAM 17 Metals 22CCR by EPA Methods (for the samples obtained from Multi- <br /> Stores/True Value Hardware only) <br /> • pH by EPA Methods (for the samples obtained from Multi-Stores/True Value Hardware <br /> off) <br /> I • Polychlorinated <br /> biphenyls (PCBs) by EPA Method 8080 (for samples obtained from the <br /> ' PG&E substation site only) <br /> The samples were analyzed on a normal laboratory schedule requiring approximately two weeks <br /> (ten working days) <br /> For a summary of the results obtained, please refer to the "Tables"tab of this report(Pages T-1 1 <br /> through T-2 2) <br /> 20-3941-01 E011MR960163 Page 14 of 21 01996 Kleinfelder,Inc <br />
