In preparing the final RI/FS Work Plan, the SDCDs have considered comments received
during the 60-day public comment period concerning the draft RI/FS Work Plan. The SDCDs are
issuing the final RI/FS Work Plan within 60 days of the close of the public comment period, as
required by Court order.
The CRP was prepared according to the scope of work described in the CRP Work Plan (Appendix
D of the RI/FS Work Plan). The goals of the CRP will be accomplished by implementing a
flexible, site-specific community relations program that provides the community with notification
and information about key project activities, the opportunity to review and comment on key project
reports, ongoing access to project documents and the ability to directly contact the Site Project
Manager.
The list of potential ARARs and TBCs is being provided, as described in Section 5.3 of the RI/FS
Work Plan. We will continue to review potential ARARs and TBCs and update the list, as
necessary, throughout implementation of the RI/FS Work Plan. The Feasibility Study will
summarize the list of potential ARARs and TBCs. The Remedial Action Plan will present the list
of final ARARs and TBCs.
1900 POWELL STREET, 12TH FLOOR, EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA 94608-1811 phone (510) 652-4500 fax (510) 652-2246
San Francisco Bay Area- Sacramento Irvine - San Diego Phoenix- Salt Lake City- Denver -Chicago-Tallahassee - Newark- Honolulu
