DRAFT 0 Levine-Fricke-Recon
address, well use (including abandoned and replaced wells), well diameter, and well
depth. Results of the well inventory have been compiled in Tables 1 through 3. All
j wells identified in the well inventory are plotted on Figure 2. Existing and abandoned
1 private wells located in the Study Area, hereafter referred to as "domestic wells," are
plotted on Figure 3. Active, inactive, and abandoned public wells, hereafter referred to
as "municipal supply wells," are plotted on Figure 4. Sites where monitoring wells
have been installed in the Study Area are plotted on Figure 5. Monitoring wells located
at or adjacent to Lincoln Center are plotted on Figure 6. For the purpose of this report,
"existing Site monitoring wells" refers to monitoring wells installed by Lincoln
Properties, Ltd. (LPL) between 1988 and 1991 and monitoring wells installed by LFR
in 1996.
Municipal supply well permits and logs obtained from SJC PHS/EHD and the City of
Stockton are presented in Appendix A. Well logs for monitoring wells located at
Lincoln Center have been presented in Appendix J of the RI/FS Work Plan (LFR
1996a) and under separate cover (LFR 1997b). The results of the state and federal
database records search are presented in Appendix B of this report.
Results of the well inventory compiled from the sources listed above were compared to
the well survey previously conducted at Lincoln Center by Leedshill-Herkenhoff, Inc.
(LH), in 1988. In addition, the following four well surveys previously conducted at
Lincoln Center were reviewed:
a well survey conducted in the spring of 1987, obtained from the Project
Depository located at the Margaret Troke Branch of the Stockton Public Library,
source unknown
a well survey conducted for the former Regal, now Exxon, service station
(Western Geo-Engineers, Inc. [WEGE] 1989)
a well survey conducted for the Chevron service station (Sierra Environmental
Consultants 1990)
well information compiled from SJC PHS/EHD records (Farr 1992)
Results of the well inventory and comparison to previous well surveys conducted in the
Study Area are described in Section 3.1 of this report.
2.2 Compile Well Construction Data
The DQOs and data use for this task are to obtain data concerning the use of selected
wells and the construction details of these wells (including total depth, screened
interval and annular seal, if available), in order to assess their usefulness for
characterizing the groundwater quality and hydraulic characteristics of the Site and
identify potential risks to the public.
4111 WELL.AMI:AW Page 3
