An IRA work plan will be submitted to the RWQCB
and the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJC
PHS/EHD) by September 3, 1996.
In addition, depth-to-groundwater measurements and groundwater elevations for the June 1996
monthly fluid-level event were presented in the "Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report, April
1 through June 30, 1996 (Second Quarter 1996)," which was submitted to the Regional Water
Quality Control Board (RWQCB) on August 15, 1996. Table 1, attached, presents a summary of
depth-to-groundwater measurements and groundwater elevations for the July 1996 monthly fluid-
level measurement event. Table 1 also presents a summary of the recently surveyed top-of-casing
elevations, previously surveyed top-of-casing elevations, and the differences between the two
surveys. Groundwater elevations for July 1996 have been calculated using the new top-of-casing
measurements, as will future monthly elevations. Groundwater elevations for all prior groundwater
level measurement events will be revised using the new top-of-casing measurement, and will be
summarized in a table to be included in the third quarter 1996 quarterly groundwater monitoring.
report, currently scheduled to be issued on November 15, 1996.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
In addition, the following activities also occurred during the bimonthly period:
• Representatives of the Settling Dry Cleaning Defendants (SDCDs) and LPL met with
representatives of the RWQCB on June. 18, 1996 to discuss the LC project.
• A public meeting was held on June 19, 1996 at the Zion Lutheran Church Social Hall at
808 Porter Avenue in Stockton, to provide information to the public about proposed activities
described in the RDFS Work Plan.
Levine-Fricke received approval of the May 31, 1996 draft RI/FS Work Plan from the
RWQCB on June 13, 1996.
•
Levine-Fricke received comments on the May 31, 1996 draft RI/FS Work Plan from the SIC
PHS/EHD on June 25, 1996.
• Levine-Fricke received comments on the May 31, 1996 draft RI/FS Work Plan from LPL on
July 23, 1996.
3966-G30.8MM:srl 2
