The information in this letter report is <br /> provided pursuant to Sections IV(A) (1) (f) and IV(F) of the Permanent Injunction Governing <br /> Investigation, Monitoring, and Testing of Hazardous Substance Contamination at and emanating <br /> from Lincoln Center and the Order of Reference to Special Master issued by Judge Levi of the <br /> United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and filed on August 16, 1993 <br /> ("Permanent Injunction"). <br /> Ongoing Data Collection Activities <br /> The following data collection activities were conducted at the Site during the bimonthly period: <br /> collection of water level measurements from Site monitoringwells on April 15, 1996, per the <br /> monthly water level event <br /> • collection of water level and product thickness measurements from Site monitoring wells on <br /> May 20, 1996, per the second quarter 1996 quarterly monitoring event <br /> • collection of groundwater samples from Site monitoring wells during the period May 20 <br /> through May 24, 1996, per the second quarter 1996 quarterly monitoring event (groundwater <br /> samples were submitted to Quanterra Environmental Services [the analytical laboratory] for <br /> analysis for volatile organic compounds using EPA method 8260A [modified]) <br /> A summary of the depth to groundwater measurements and groundwater elevations for the April <br /> and May 1996 water level measurement activities is presented on the attached Table 1. Validated <br /> analytical data for the second quarter 1996 quarterly monitoring event are not yet available.
