The information in this letter report is provided pursuant to <br /> Sections IV(A)(1)(f) and IV(F) of the "Permanent Injunction Governing Investigation, Monitoring, <br /> and Testing of the Hazardous Substance Contamination at and Emanating from Lincoln Center and <br /> Order of Reference to Special Master," issued by Judge Levi of the United States District Court, <br /> Eastern District of California, and filed on August 16, 1993. <br /> Ongoing Data Collection Activities <br /> The following data collection activities were conducted at the Site during the bimonthly period. <br /> • Fluid levels were measured in site monitoring wells on April 14 and May 12, 1997. Table 1 <br /> presents a summary of groundwater elevation data for these months. <br /> • Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells at the Site from May 13 through <br /> 16, 1997. Analytical results of these samples will be presented in the second quarter 1997 <br /> groundwater monitoring report to be submitted to all parties by August 15, 1997. <br /> • Dedicated purge pumps were installed in existing site A-zone monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-12 from April 15 through 18. <br /> • Cone penetrometer testing (CPT) and push-in polyvinyl chloride penetrometer (PIPP) sampling <br /> were conducted at plume perimeter locations near Gettysburg Place on Cameron Way, Seward <br /> Way, and McClellan Way on April 23 through 25, 1997 (Figure 1).
