<br /> All new remedial investigation and IRA monitoring wells, extraction wells, piezometers, SVE
<br /> monitoring wells, SVE wells, CPT/PIPP borings, soil borings, and soil-vapor points were
<br /> surveyed on October 14.
<br /> • Newly installed A- and B-zone monitoring wells were developed and sampled from October 19
<br /> through 23.
<br /> Phase I IRA piezometers PZ-012A (1 and 2) through PZ-014A (1 and 2), located on Pacific
<br /> Avenue, were developed and sampled on October 22 and 23.
<br /> Dedicated purge pump equipment will be installed in A- and B-zone monitoring wells from
<br /> November 9 through 12.
<br /> Documents Submitted or Received
<br /> The following documents were completed and issued during the bimonthly period:
<br /> The RWQCB approved the First Quarter 1998 groundwater monitoring report in its letter
<br /> dated August 5, 1998.
<br /> The RWQCB approved draft revisions to the Field Sampling Plan (FSP), Quality Assurance
<br /> Project Plan (QAPP), and the Health and Safety Plan (HSP), Appendices B, C, and F,
<br /> respectively, to the "Work Plan for Environmental Investigation, Lincoln Center, Stockton,
<br /> California" ("the RI/FS Work Plan"), submitted on the May 22, 1998, in its letter dated
<br /> August 5, 1998. Changes included revised sampling and updated laboratory procedures for the
<br /> FSP (Appendix B; revision 4) and the QAPP (Appendix C; revision 5), and additional
<br /> construction safety measures for the HSP (Appendix F; revision 1). Revisions to the QAPP
<br /> and HSP (dated August 21, 1998) were issued on September 4, 1998. Final revisions to the
<br /> FSP were not issued, pending review of further changes.
<br /> The RWQCB approved the draft, revised "Quarterly Monitoring Plan, Lincoln Center,
<br /> Stockton, California," submitted on May 22, 1998, in its letter dated August 5, 1998.
<br /> The RWQCB approved the proposed additional Plume Perimeter Investigation field activities
<br /> (Locations 12 through 16), submitted on June 4, 1998, in its letter dated August 5, 1998.
<br /> The "Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report, April 1 through June 30, 1998 (Second
<br /> Quarter 1998), Lincoln Center, Stockton, California," was issued on August 14, 1998.
<br /> The RWQCB approved the draft "Phase II IRA Soil-Vapor Extraction Pilot Test Work Plan,
<br /> Lincoln Center, Stockton, California," submitted on July 30, 1998, in its letter dated August
<br /> 18, 1998.
