Fact Sheet No. 1, issued in <br /> June 1996, provided background information, discussed <br /> previous investigations, described the draft RI/FS Work <br /> Plan, and discussed opportunities for public involvement. <br /> Tetrachloroethene (PCE), a chemical commonly used in dry <br /> cleaning, and its degradation products, trichloroethene i w _ d <br /> (TCE) and 1,2-dichloroethene (1,2-DCE), have been Ho r d <br /> detected in soils beneath buildings and paved areas at the i <br /> Site.
