Physical hazards arise from proposed
sampling, excavation, and construction activities.
Work procedures to protect workers from chemical and physical hazards are discussed '
in Section 6 of this HSP.
5.1 Chemical Hazards ,
Previous investigations have identified the potential for encountering chemical hazards ,
at the Site. The following chemicals have been detected in soil and groundwater
samples collected from the Site:
• 1,2-dichloroethene (1,2-13CE) '
• tetrachloroethylene (perchloroethylene or PCE)
• trichloroethylene (TCE) ,
Page F-8 RIFSWP-AppF-Rev1-041 11:SRL ,
