The subject site is located at 6530 Pacific Avenue <br /> in Stockton, southeast of the intersection of Ben Holt Drive and Pacific Avenue in Stockton. <br /> The property is currently occupied by a vacant bank building. The property and building <br /> are owned by The Bank of America (BOA). - Ninyo & Moore is under contract to <br /> Honeybaked Ham Company,Ine. (HBHC) to perforin a property transfer environmental site <br /> assessment of the subject property. Ninyo & Moore is currently performing document <br /> review and historical research of the subject site. <br /> Our preliminary research indicates that the subject site is located within approximately 500 <br /> feet of two gasoline stations with leaking underground storage tanks (Chevron/6633 Pacific <br /> Ave, and Exxon/6425 Pacific Ave). Groundwater beneath these two gasoline stations has <br /> been contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons. The SJCEHD UST Cleanup Unit stated <br /> that based on currently available data there :is no-indication that contamination from these <br /> two gasoline stations has migrated beneath the subject site. However, a.representative of <br /> the SJCEHD indicated that groundwater remediation has yet to begin at these two properties <br /> and that further migration of groundwater contamination is possible.
