The remaining wells, MW-3, MW-10, MW-11 R, and
MW-12R were reduced to semi-annual sampling and reporting.
A search of Geotracker submittals has revealed that the last groundwater sampling event
conducted by TOC occurred on February 25, 2009. The last monitoring and sampling
report (Geo_Report), the last depth to water data (Geo_Well), and the last electronic
submittal of groundwater laboratory data (EDF) was for first quarter, 2009. Missing from
Geotracker are the required Geo_Report, EDF, and Geo—Well submittals for the second,
third, and fourth quarter 2009.
Additionally, the annual and semi-annual sampling events were to begin during the first
quarter 2010 (January, February, & March) under the EHD witness. The EHD has not
been contacted for an appointment to witness this required sampling event and no first
quarter 2010 submittals are on Geotracker.
You are not in compliance with directives and sampling/reporting requirements issued by
the EHD or UST regulations to submit data to Geotracker.
You are hereby directed to conduct a groundwater sampling event within 30 days of
the date of this letter.
All monitoring wells and all remediation wells with groundwater in them are to be sampled
for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary-butyl ether [MtBE], tertiary-butyl alcohol [TBA], di-
isopropyl ether [DIPE], ethyl tertiary-butyl ether [EtBE], tertiary-amyl methyl ether [TAME].
1,2-dibromoethane [EDB], and 1,2-dicholorethane [DCA].
You are hereby directed to contact Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454 with no less
than two working days notice to schedule an appointment for this sampling event
and to submit the Geo_Report for this event, the EDF, and the Geo Well to
Geotracker by July 17, 2010.
