V
Shelby,
I recieved two Stantec submittals for this site today on Geotracker. QMR-1st-2011 dated 3-
15-2011 and "Well Destruction & Well Protection Report", dated 3-15-11 . After reviewing each
I still have NO idea when you'll be doing any of the required work onsite or the offsite well
install. The conclusions in both reports were missing dates for expected/required work and no
site status/progress information was provided. I'm not happy. I was under the impression back
in Fall 2010 that we were going to work together on advancing this site.
The EHD was very cooperative with the rush to get the wells out and to approve CP requests
as 711 entered into this site's future.
Now, over five months later and we/CP are no further than we were in Oct 2010 after the wells
and remed system was removed. Seems CP got what it wanted. Can't say the same for the
EHD. I was by the site today and other than run down and looking like a dump site, it's the
same as it was in Nov 2010, except the building is showing signs of either roof damage or a
breakin, it's still standing and the weeds are growing higher and higher.
It was never my intention to rush to comply with CP's wishes only to have the EHD left in the
dark for many months with NO significant compliance efforts made on your part to advance
this site back into full remediation with replaced wells/remed system. I feel taken advantage
of.
Mike Infurna
SJCEHD
3!22/)(11 1
