Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Barclay, Diane [Diane.Barclay@stantec.com]
Sent: Thursday, July 08, 2010 2:54 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Lathrop, Shelby S (Shaw Environmental, Inc.)
Subject: Progress at 7647 Pacific, Stockton
Attachments: 20100708-5449 Work Plan for Monitoring Well Destruction and Replacement.pdf
Hello Mike,
We continue to make progress at 7647 Pacific, Stockton. Here is a brief summary of activity that has recently
taken place:
• SVE system moved from Fort Bragg to site and set up
• Building and Planning permitting finalized
• GW pump installed in MW-12R
• Electrical installation
• Preparation of work plan to destroy/replace MW-4 uploaded to GeoTracker for your review; a copy
attached for your convenience
Once the City clears the electrical, we can request the PG&E inspection. If we do not encounter any other delays,
we should have power early next week. The SVE system is ready to go once we get power and the groundwater
system (for dewatering) is close to ready as well. Completion of the groundwater system can be done once we
have power.
Assuming we get power, we plan to shake down the SVE system next week. If concentrations are high, then we
do not anticipate dewatering, and can start the SVE test right away. During the shake down, if concentrations are
low or nondetectable, we will dewater first, and then conduct the SVE test.
The 3Q10 sampling event is scheduled for July 20. We will put a rush on the lab and include the preliminary
rebound test data in the report to be submitted July 30th. We are scheduled to destroy MW-4 on July 22,
pending approval of the work plan and permits.
Diane Barclay, PG, CEG, CHG
Principal Geologist
Stantec
3017 Kilgore Road Suite 100
Rancho Cordova CA 95670
Ph: (916)384-0744
Fx: (916)861-0430
Cell: (916)812-3608
diane.barclay@stantec.com
stantec.com
The content of this email is the confidential property of Stantec and should not be copied, modified, retransmitted, or used for
any purpose except with Stantec's written authorization.
