. Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2003 and First Quarter 2004 <br /> Former PACIFIC AUTO CENTER <br /> 25355 North Highway 99, Acampo, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Pat Meeks, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 25355 N Highway 99, Acampo, California The scope <br /> of work included domestic well sampling,quarterly groundwater monitoring and preparation of this <br /> report In addition, as per the directive letter from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department dated 20 October 2003, four domestic wells down gradient from the contamination <br /> plume were sampled and analyzed The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area <br /> Is Illustrated in Figure 1 Structures and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 An <br /> expanded site plan, including the locations of the four down gradient domestic wells is shown in <br /> Figure 3 Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared Preliminary Site Assessment <br /> Report, dated 07 April 1999 Data from previous ground water monitoring events are included in <br /> Tables 1 and 2 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for the Investigation of underground <br /> storage tank (UST) sites and the sampling of ground water monitoring wells as issued by the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region(CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD), respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 19 December 2003 and 15 March 2004, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the <br /> depth to ground water in the three wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water <br /> elevations and gradient were determined from this data (Table 1) <br /> After depth to ground water measurements,a minimum of three casing-water volumes of water were <br /> purged from each well using dedicated, disposable plastic bailers,between 125 and 4 25 gallons of <br /> water were removed from each well in December,and approximately 6 0 gallons were removed from <br /> each well in March Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular <br /> intervals during the purge process using an Oakton water analyzer Field data sheets are included in <br /> Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
