Residential Property UIC-Septic page 2
519 N. Patton Ave, Stockton
Detectable concentrations of contaminants in the soil samples will be evaluated to
determine if additional investigation is required. Excessive concentrations of these
chemicals may have to be laterally and vertically defined before the septic system would
be cleared for use and the residency cleared for occupancy.
In addition, the drinking water well(s) on the property should be sampled. Chemicals
associated with a Methamphetamine lab present a threat to life and health and the well
water should not be used if the well samples indicate the contaminants have migrated to
the ground water. Bottled water should be used for drinking, cooking, and bathing until a
permanent solution can be instituted (i.e. well replacement).
The work plan is approved with the additional laboratory analysis of certain soil samples.
and sampling of the onsite well. Please submit the Well Permit Application Form and
$89 fee for processing. EHD will notify AGE when the permit has been issued and an
appointment has been scheduled.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
