• s
Ed Koberstein
5400 Pacific Ave., Stockton page 2
Based on the results of using ORC, in conjunction with the SVE to reduce petroleum
contamination levels in the soil, PHS-EHD will evaluate whether or not active
groundwater remediation will be required.
Additionally, monitoring wells that continue to have water levels above the screened
interval will need to be replaced with wells that are constructed so that the
vadose/saturated zone interface is within the screened interval. PHS-EHD will require
the well replacement(s) once the water levels appear to have stabilized and the
screened intervals are still below the water level. The out-of-screen monitoring wells
may remain if it can be determined that they could serve a useful purpose in the near
future.
Please contact Michael Infurna at (209) 468-3454 should you have any questions or
wish to discuss this further.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Michael Infurna Jr., Senior REHS MargaretLagorio, REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
MI/
c: Wallid Kazi - Environmental Audit, 1000-A Ortega Way, Placentia, CA, 92870
c: Cleanup Fund-SWRCB - Ismael Jacobo, 2014 T St., Ste 130, Sac. 94244
c: Stone Brothers - 1024 W.
