Two soil borings were drilled to <br /> determine the vertical extent of hydrocarbon contamination at the above referenced site. High levels of <br /> hydrocarbon contamination were detected in the soil to a depth of 51 feet below surface. <br /> We have the following comments and concerns pertaining to the May 20 report and to the continuing <br /> investigation. <br /> 1. All submittals must include the stamp or seal and signature of a registered geologist, <br /> certified geologist, or registered engineer, with the State of California. <br /> 2. Bills of lading or waste manifests should be submitted with the report to insure and <br /> document proper disposal of spoils. <br /> 3. The concrete anchor slab and all product piping should be removed. A closure plan should <br /> be submitted to this office to the attention of the Underground Tank Unit by July 23, 1991. <br /> 4.
