Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> RE: Site Code 2162, Former Unocal Service Station Site, <br /> 5606 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> By now you should have received a letter dated January 13, 1992, addressed to you from Mr. <br /> Ron Bock, of the Unocal Corporation with respect to the remediation program at the above <br /> referenced site. <br /> I wish to advise you that the Owners have at all times attempted to cooperate with Unocal <br /> with respect to remediation of the above referenced site. Enclosed herewith is a copy of <br /> a letter dated March 15, 1991, and executed by the property's owner, Marvin Jensen for <br /> Stone Bros. and Associates, dated March 27, 1991 and executed by Unocal Corporation on <br /> May 5, 1991. Access to the site for remediation purposes is not a problem. Further, Unocal <br /> has been aware since 1988 of the Owner's intent to develop the property. The position of <br /> Stone Bros. and Associates is that Unocal has intentionally delayed the remediation of this <br /> site. I am of the opinion that your review of the history will reveal that such is the case. <br /> Mr. Marvin Jensen and I would appreciate the opportunity of meeting with you and/or your <br /> staff to determine what can be done to have Unocal complete remediation of this site in an <br /> expeditious manner.
