The results of the testing will be used to further assist any additional water <br /> supply alternatives and to assess the presence of a human health and safety threat. (Completed) <br /> 6. Regional Board staff will continue to activities with the currently identified parties (Unocal and <br /> Montgomery Wards)responsible,based on currently reviewed data, for the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon contamination plume impacting the Robinhood well. In addition a letter will be <br /> prepared and sent to both aforementioned parties by the Regional Board requiring them to work <br /> cooperatively with Delta College and that they(Unocal and Montgomery Ward), at this time, are <br /> jointly responsible for supplying an alternate irrigation water source to the campus. <br /> 7. Regional Board staff are currently preparing a formal enforcement order that will name both <br /> Unocal and Montgomery Wards as responsible for complete investigation and remediation of the <br /> contamination identified. And further, for resolution of all other impacts to human health',and <br /> safety and the environment caused by the release of petroleum hydrocarbons from their <br /> respective sites, located at 5606 Pacific Avenue and 5400 Pacific Avenue, respectively. <br /> Should you have any questions regarding the above, please contact Mr. Marty Hartzell at (916) 255- <br /> 3115.
