The work to be performed under this Section shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, <br /> tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, appurtenances,fuel, and power, unless specifically <br /> excepted, necessary or required for the clean up of the work as described in these <br /> specifications. <br /> PART2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 MATERIALS <br /> A. No materials are required in this Section. <br /> PART 3-EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 GENERAL CLEAN UP <br /> A. Throughout all phases of construction, including suspension of work, and until final <br /> acceptance of the project, the Contractor shall keep the premises occupied by him in a clean <br /> and orderly condition, disposing of construction debris and refuse in a manner consistent with <br /> the plan approved by the Engineer.The cost of providing clean up throughout the life of the <br /> contract shall be deemed to be included in the other items of work and no separate allowance <br /> will be made therefore. <br /> If during the course of the work, the Engineer deems that additional clean up is required,the <br /> Contractor shall provide such additional clean up as is required at no additional expense to <br /> the College. <br /> 3.02 EXCESS MATERIALS <br /> A. Excess or unsuitable backfill material, broken pipe, or other waste material be shall be <br /> removed from the job site and disposed of by the Contractor. <br /> 3.03 CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS <br /> A. Trash, construction debris, packaging, refuse,or other waste material shall stored in <br /> approved containers and be removed from the job site and disposed of by the Contractor. <br /> 3,04 ROADWAY MAINTENANCE <br /> A. Spills resulting from hauling operations along or across existing streets, roads, or ramps shall <br /> be removed immediately by the Contractor.All gutters and roadside ditches shall be kept <br /> clean and free from obstructions. The Contractor shall immediately remove spills by sweeping <br /> or flushing the areas. <br /> If in the opinion of the Engineer, additional roadway maintenance is required to remove <br /> materials from spills, erosion, dust nuisance, etc., the Contractor shall provide such additional <br /> maintenance at no additional cost to the College. <br /> 01561 -1 <br />
