In areas where excessive dust,caused by construction operations, is a nuisance to property <br /> Colleges, the Contractor shall frequently wet down the area to control the dust in accordance <br /> with the Contract Documents. <br /> 3.06 FINAL CLEANING <br /> A. Upon completion of all work all paved areas shall be swept to remove all dirt, gravel, or other <br /> debris. Flushing of streets will not be permitted.All access roads, haul roads, and the areas <br /> surrounding the borrow areas and project site shall be returned to their condition existing prior <br /> to commencement of work. <br /> As a condition of final acceptance of the work,the Contractor shall carefully cleanup the work <br /> and the premises, remove all temporary structures built by or for him, remove all surplus <br /> construction materials, debris, and rubbish of all kinds from the grounds,which he has <br /> occupied, and leave them in a neat condition. The entire project shall be left in a condition that <br /> will present a pleasing appearance as viewed in general and in a manner satisfactory to the <br /> Engineer. <br /> The Engineer shall perform a final inspection of the clean up of the site, and the Contractor <br /> shall remedy such problems noted during the inspection, or provide such additional work as <br /> deemed appropriate, at no additional cost to the College. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> R 01-8 <br /> 01561 -2 <br />
