The well design was prepared <br /> by Secor International Incorporated (SECOR) under contract with the State Water Resources <br /> Control Board Underground Storage Cleanup Fund. <br /> The recommended design was based on review of hydrogeologic conditions in the general area, <br /> evaluation of the results of the test boring and geophysical testing that was conducted at the <br /> proposed replacement well site. Information obtained from the Department of Water Resources <br /> on other production wells in the vicinity of the college was also used. <br /> ,The Fund recommends that the attached replacement well design be used and that bids to <br /> -implement this design be solicited from at least three well drilling companies. The fund also <br /> recommends that you obtain at least three bids for the labor and material necessary to connect the <br /> new irrigation well to the existing conveyance system. <br /> Upon receipt and review of the bids,please prepare and submit a Pre-approval Request Package <br /> to the Fund for processing. <br /> If you have any questions concerning the information provided in this letter or the attached <br /> report, please contact me (916) 341-5684. <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> Za Recycled Paper <br />
