The property is upgradient
from the former Unocal service station located at 5606 Pacific Avenue
(refer to attached Site Plan) . Additionally, the City of Stockton would
reportedly obtain the easternmost part of the property, where monitoring
well MW-15 is located, and expand Pacific Avenue in that location. As
such, the property owners and Unocal (a direct subsidiary of Chevron)
request that well MW-15 be allowed to be permanently abandoned.
Monitoring well MW-15, upgradient of the former Unocal Site, has not had
concentrations above laboratory reporting limits for TPHg in 20
consecutive quarters of monitoring, benzene in six quarters of
monitoring, EDB in four quarters of monitoring (previously not
analyzed) , and 1,2-DCA in 25 quarters of monitoring. (Refer to Table -
Groundwater Analytical Results and Elevations - MW-15 (attached) . )
Therefore, on behalf of the responsible parties listed above, ENSR
2/15/2007
