Subject: 5400 Pacific Avenue, Stockton - Well Destruction Information
Good Morning, Mike:
On behalf of Chevron and Stone Brothers, and as you requested,we have attached a table of all
wells for this site with a notation indicating the destruction method proposed. Please note,
there may be specific wells that warrant pressure grouting to the surface and no over-drilling
based on a field survey for buried utilities, which will be performed prior to the well
abandonment work. We would expect to work out those specifics with San Joaquin County at
that time.
Our estimate is that it will take approximately four weeks to complete the well destructions as
proposed. At this time we do not expect any significant limitations with regard to completing
the site work; it will be conducted during regular business hours. If the work cannot be
completed prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, then it will likely be postponed until January.
Please be advised that Geocon Consultants, Inc. (on behalf of the property owner, Stone
Brothers),will be obtaining all well destruction permits, performing all field work, and preparing
the well destruction report.
Regards,
Brenda Evans, REA I Jim Brake, P.G.
Senior Project Manager Associate/Senior Geologist
AECOM Environment Geocon Consultants, Inc.
1220 Avenida Acaso, Camarillo, California 93012 3160 Gold Valley Drive, Suite
800, Rancho Cordova, California 95742
Office 805.388.3775 Ext. 260 Office 916.852.9118
Cell 805.746.5892 Cell 916.870.1180
Fax 805.388.3577 Fax 916.852.9132
brenda.evans@aecorll.com brake@geoconinc.com
-----Original Message-----
From: Mike Infurna [EH] rmailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.coml
Sent: Wednesday, August 17, 2011 1:09 PM
To: McKenna, Stephanie
Subject: RE: 5400 Pacific Avenue Stockton
Hi Stephanie,
No problem. . Experience tells me to gettin this all clear up front
eliminates many problems later. .
Since you have OK'd the joint consultant status for this phase, let's keep
it going. Let Josh and Brenda know to cc each other when emailing me and
I'll respond to all. Saves me multiple emails for the same concern.
I am so overwhelmed with well destructions lately, I can't get much office
work done. Multiply this site's concerns by about 50 and I hope you can
understand that providing me time and complete submittals will allow
minimum email traffic and hopefully get your permits issued.
I have three major oil sites pending nearly 75 well destructions plus
11/7/2011
