GHH Engineering, Inc. (GHH) proposes to conduct the
following tasks to determine if there was any impact to MW-1.
• Swab the casing for approximately 15 feet below ground surface (bgs)
to determine if any seal coat actually entered the well
• Measure the total depth of the well to determine if any silting has occurred
• Purge a minimum of three equivalent well volumes of groundwater from
the well, and monitor pH and conductivity
• Purged groundwater will be placed into Department of Transportation
(DOT) approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site prior to disposal.
The purged water will be profiled and disposed of as a non-hazardous
waste by a certified waste hauler.
• Collect groundwater samples from MW-1. GHH and ENSR will
collect split samples, which will be analyzed for TPH G and TPH MO
using EPA Method 8015, and Volatile Organic Compounds using EPA
Method 8260B
1.1960 Heritage Oak Place • Suite 2B •Auburn, CA. 95603 (530)886-3100 (800)877-1739 fax: (530)886-3108
