Corrective Action Plan <br /> Montgomery Ward Auto Service Center, Stockton, CA <br /> ■ Measure dissolved oxygen and BTEX in ground water for wells surrounding air <br /> Ispargmg wells <br /> Air flow will be measured with a flow meter Vacuum pressure will be measured using <br />' vacuum gauges or magnehelics Vapor concentrations will be measured using a PID <br /> Once a month, vapor samples also will be collected in Tedlar Bags or Summa Canisters <br /> and ground water samples will be collected in bottles for laboratory analyses <br /> In addition to the above, the following parameters also will be documented at regular <br /> intervals <br />' ■ Utility and fuel usage rates and amounts <br /> ■ Ambient monitoring of breathing zone <br /> ■ Logs of all field activities <br /> 1 Laboratory Analyses of Vapor Sam les <br /> The vapor samples collected will be sent to a certified laboratory for analysis by EPA <br />' Method TO-14 Results reported by this analysis includes TPH-G and BTEX <br /> LaboratoLry Analyses of Ground Water Sam les <br /> The monthly ground water samples collected will be sent to a certified laboratory for <br /> analysis of TPH-G by modified EPA Method 8015, and BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method <br /> 8020 If MTBE is detected by EPA Method 8020, it presence will be confirmed by EPA <br /> Method 8240 or 8260 Quarterly ground water samples will be tested for the following <br /> additional parameters <br /> ■ Total Heterotropic Plate Count <br /> s Ferric, Ferrous and Total Iron <br /> ■ Sulfides, Sulfates and Total Sulphur <br />' ■ Nitrates, Nitrite and Total Nitrogen <br /> ■ Ammonia <br /> ■ Dissolved Oxygen <br /> ■ Carbon Dioxide <br /> n Ph <br /> Maintenance of Wells Containin2 ORCs <br />' According to the manufacturer, the ORC socks may be required to be changed every 3 to 4 <br /> months The ORC socks will be inspected every quarter and replaced as necessary In <br /> addition, monitoring dissolved oxygen concentrations within the wells containing the ORC <br /> socks will be completed by using methods recommended by the (SRC manufacturer <br /> Monitoring/Reporting <br /> As required by the County, Montgomery Ward will continue to perform quarterly ground <br /> L �__.� .,.. 114ontgomery Ward will obtain <br /> water monitoring at its site During each �11oratoring eve.xt, ._. <br />' ground water elevations for all wells, and purge and sample selected wells that aie <br /> representative of the Montgomery Ward Site Reports will be prepared and submitted <br /> documenting the results of the monitoring <br /> Project No 1232 - 28 - <br />' SAR WORD 1232CAP <br />
