1 <br /> ty ` <br /> FLUOR DANIEL GTI <br /> September 24, 1998 <br /> Mi Mark Gilmartin, Es,q <br /> Gilmartin & LeBerthon, LLP <br /> 100 Wilshire Blvd , Suite 1325 <br /> Santa Monica, CA 90401-1114 <br /> RE Proposal to Implement Corrective Action Plan (CAP) <br /> Montgomery Ward Auto Center, 5400 Pacific Ave , Stockton, CA <br /> PHS-EHD Site Code No 2163 and UST Cleanup Fund Claim No 1760 <br /> Dear Mr Gilmartin <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to provide the following proposal to implement a CAP for your client, <br /> Montgomery Ward Auto Center It is Fluor Daniel GTI's understanding that the workscope will be <br /> completed in accordance with the CAP dated July 6, 1998, prepared by Environmental Audit, Inc (EAI) <br /> In preparing this quotation, we have reviewed the four documents provided in your September 2nd <br /> correspondence fluor Daniel GTI has developed our proposal based upon this information as well as on <br /> our professional experience with the California UST Cleanup Fund, the PHS-EHD, and installing similar <br /> remediation systems in this geographic area Where applicable in the workscope, Fluor Daniel GTI has <br /> noted potential areas for cost savings <br /> The work will be conducted by Fluor Daniel GTI staff located in our Martinez, California, office Mr <br /> Brian Garber is the proposed Project Manager He has extensive UST project management experience in <br /> Northern California and has personally worked on sites assigned to Mr Michael Infurna, San Joaquin <br /> County PHS-EHD (PHS-EHD) Mr Garber has been responsible for implementing, pricing, designing, <br /> permitting, construction management, documenting, and closing remediation activities in accordance with <br /> California UST Reimbursement Fund guidelines He has been with Fluor Daniel GTI for 6 years <br /> Other project team members will be Matt Sutton, PE, Ed Simonis, RG, and John Ranspach Mr Sutton has <br /> installed, designed, and operated all types of remediation systems, including vapor extraction and sparge <br /> systems, at both industrial sites and retail petroleum sites for Fluor Daniel GTI for more than 9 years Mr <br /> Simonis has been with Fluor Daniel GTI for 12 years and will provide senior technical over-sight during <br /> well installation and system operations Mr Ranspach has been with Fluor Daniel GTI for 5 years and has <br /> extensive experience as a field geologist on UST subsurface assessment and remediation programs for <br /> major oil and industrial companies He will be the field geologist for this project Their resumes are <br /> included in Attachment A <br /> 757 Arnold Drive,Suite D,Martinez,California 94553 (925)370-3990 (925)370-3991 (Fox) <br />
