Permits <br /> On an as-needed basis, Fluor Daniel GTI will interact with the appropriate regulatory agencies at your <br /> direction on your client's behalf, to assure the successful completion of the protect Our project manager, <br /> Brian Garber, will attend regulatory meetings, adhere to regulatory oversight directives, and prepare <br /> correspondence, telecommunications, and reports to the appropriate agencies We will be responsible for <br /> 1)obtaining the work permits from the City of Stockton for well construction,2) permitting with the <br /> APCD for installing and operating the proposed system under air quality guidelines, 3) permitting with the <br /> PNS-EHD for well permits, and 4)scheduling all required regulatory agency inspections associated with <br /> the wort. We have assumed no other access, encroachment, or right-of-way permits will be required and <br /> have not included costs for obtaining permits in this proposal <br /> Task 3 Utility Clearance ant] Utilisation <br /> Fluor Daniel GTI will review available site utility plans and will mark the proposed boring locations with <br /> white punt Aftei the locdtions ate marked, Undeiground Service Alert will be notified at least 45 hours <br /> before drilling activities and, if necessary, a private utility locating f rin will be contracted to clear each of <br /> the proposed locations, or alternative locations Costs for the utility locating firm and our supervision are <br /> included in this submittal <br /> Task 4 Mobilization and Demobilization <br /> Fluor Daniel GTI will supervise the mobilization and demobilization of the activities associated with <br /> installing the remediation system We will coordinate material delivery with our subcontractors, vendors, <br /> and Montgomery Ward's hours of operation, plan and oversee the system installation, inspect the <br /> treatment equipment system upon arrival on-site to ensure its operating condition, and provide secure on- <br /> site storage of the equipment As part of this task, Fluor Daniel GTI will initiate the procurement activities <br /> to secure the necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors to complete the installation and set up <br /> field operations, including storage trailer, portable toilet, phone, trash bins, etc We will also discuss and, if <br /> necessary, set up appropriate traffic control measures <br /> Task 5 Remediation Well Installation <br /> Fluor Daniel GTI will install additional wells that will be used in the remediation system as follows <br /> • Eight, 6-inch diameter combination groundwater/soil vapor extraction wells The first stainless <br /> steel well screen will be in the vadose zone to a depth of 14 to 30 feet below ground surface (bgs) <br /> and the second will be to 60 feet bg, which is below the deepest known contamination at the site <br /> (Per CAP Figure 13) <br /> • Oxygen Releasing Compounds(ORC) will be placed in MW-3 and MW-4 as directed by the <br /> PHD-EHS MW-6 will be monitored to check observable downgradtent effects of the ORC during <br /> quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> The well installation program wi Il consist of the following subtasks <br /> Subtask 51—Work Plan Fluor Daniel GTI will prepare a Work Plan for the well installation that will be <br /> submitted to the PHD-EHS for review and approval The Work Plan will include an explanation of site <br /> conditions as well as detailed investigative methods that demonstrate an understanding of subsurface <br /> MGWCAPSD WPD FLUOR DANIEL GTI <br /> 3 <br />
