�.. *4wo <br /> PRP-JOB MEETING <br /> Prior to the initiation of a project, the contractor is to meet with the Project <br /> Engineer and Plant Manager to discuss the specifics of the job, and to review <br /> PSM - as well as to discuss how the contractor will do the job in a safe <br /> manner. Also at this time, initial questions of The Wine Group will he <br /> answered. <br /> WELDING AND CUTTING SAFETY PROGRAMS <br /> The contractor is responsible for having a written Welding and Cutting <br /> Safety Program - including the issuance of proper Welding and Cutting <br /> Permits. <br /> The contractor will provide proper fire extinguishers, barrier blankets, or any <br /> other equipment to ensure that no fire will ensue. <br /> The contractor will provide at least a 30-minute fire watch if any welding or <br /> cutting is performed. The contractor's employee assigned to the fire watch <br /> will know how to report any incidents to The Wine Group so that possible <br /> evacuation and fire department reponse will not be impeded. <br /> 'FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS <br /> All flammable and combustible materials shall be stored away from any <br /> buildings and or structures. It is suggested that the materials be stored at <br /> least 25 to 50 feet away. <br /> SMOKING <br /> Smoking is prohibited at or in the vicinity of hazardous operations or <br /> combustible or flammable materials. There is no smoking allowed in any <br /> buildings on the facilities. Smoking will be allowed only in designed areas. <br /> Where smoking is permitted, receptacles shall be provided for smoking <br /> materials. <br /> May 2000 <br />
