KobinhoodPlaza Shopping C#- 5756 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA, Page 2 of 5
your rush/Thursday drill, I will have to spend over-time hours to process at 1.5 rate.
I'll need your authorization to spend over-time to meet your schedule if needed.
an email will suffice.
From: Freeman, Lita [mailto:Lita.Freeman@lfr.com]
Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2008 4:48 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: RE: Robinhood Plaza Shopping Center - 5756 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA
Mike
Sorry about the proposed time line— I just left you a voice mail—please feel free to give me a call to
discuss. We are trying to meet client's time table but I know that there are certain requirements to be met
so that you can issue the permit.
I should start with a recap of what has happened at the site. We did initial sampling at the C&S One-Hour
Martinizing facility in the shopping center in November 2007 then installed soil gas wells in April 2008 to
further evaluate the PCE extent. The report presenting the results of the sampling and our
recommendations for additional work is dated June 18, 2008 (see attached) and was submitted to the
RWQCB, the lead agency, that day. The RWQCB is just giving us comments from their review. Our case
worker at the RWQCB is Roberto Cervantes and his phone number is 916.464.4682; Duncan Austin is his
supervisor.
We plan to use Vironex's limited access direct push rig to collect samples at three locations on the
shopping center property. That is the same company we used during the previous sampling events. The
LCD signed by Vironex's representative is attached. Will you need a new LCD signed by Vironex for the
proposed work? If you need a new LCD I should be able to have that to you by the end of this week.
I can also have the application and fee to you by the end of this week. The master file form is attached.
The map showing the sewer line location and proposed sampling locations will not be to you before
Tuesday of next week. I know that is really short notice (for any regulatory agency) but wanted to try for
drilling on Thursday September 11. We have a limited access rig scheduled for that day that we need for
the tight spaces we plan to drill. The next available date on that rig is October 6 right now so we really want
to try to keep September 11.
I really appreciate your help on this. I will pass information to you as soon as I receive. Please let me know
if you have any questions or need additional information.
Thanks
Lita
Lita D.
