Barton, <br /> ARCADIS P.G. <br /> May 29,2009 <br /> piping in the planters on the west side of the Chevron property.These GWE wells <br /> are.part of a larger groundwater extraction and treatment system installed to treat <br /> chlorinated hydrocarbons in groundwater associated with past dry cleaning activities <br /> at the Lincoln Village Shopping Center(LVSC).The.onsite wells are connected to the <br /> overall system via conveyance piping'. <br /> Proposed Scope of Work <br /> The scope of work includes the destructionofsite groundwater monitoring wells <br /> (Figure 1).A schedule of the proposed monitoring well destruction activities is <br /> presented in Attachment 1. <br /> Site Specific Health,Safety,and Environmental Protection Plan <br /> As required by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration(OSHA)Standard <br /> "Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response"guidelines(29 Code of <br /> Federal Regulations Section 1910.120), and by California Occupational Health and <br /> Safety Administration(Cal-OSHA)"Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency <br /> Response"guidelines(California Code of Regulations Title 8, Section 5192), <br /> ARCADIS will prepare an environmental health and safety plan(E-HASP)prior to <br /> commencement of fieldwork. Field staff and contractors will review the E-HASP <br /> before beginning field operations at the site. <br /> Permitting <br /> Applicable permits will be obtained from the.City'-of Stockton and the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)as necessary, prior to <br /> commencing field activities. <br /> Underground Utility Line Locating <br /> Underground Service Alert(USA)will be notified at least 48 hours before drilling <br /> activities to identify public utilities in the vicinity of the proposed borings.
