(Cambria) has
prepared this Work Plan for Additional Site Assessment at the referenced site. In letter correspondence
dated June 8,2006,the Sari Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)requested a
work plan to assess the lateral and vertical extent of contamination near well MW-6,assess the vertical
extent of impacted groundwater in the vicinity of the former underground storage tanks(USTs),and
assess the lateral extent of MTBE-impacted groundwater west of the site. A copy of the SJCEHD
correspondence is included as Appendix A. Presented below is the site background, a summary of
previous investigations,an evaluation of the contaminant distribution, and the proposed scope of work
and schedule.
i
2.0 SITE BACKGROUND
2.1 Site Description
The site is located at 1022 Frontage Road(formerly 22502 South Highway 99)in Ripon,California
(Figure 1).
