Cambria
provided the analytical data from the split samples collected on October 30, 1996, to
EHD and upon review, EHD accepted the data as submitted.
By letter dated January 26, 2006, EHD directed you to continue sampling MW-1 for
motor oil and consider sampling additional nearby wells for motor oil. To date, no
additional wells have been analyzed for motor oil. Therefore,EHD directs you to include
the analysis for motor oil in future quarterly groundwater sampling events for MW-1,
MW-2, and MW-9, and in soil and groundwater samples from borings/monitoring wells
yet to be advanced. Samples must be analyzed on an instrument with a recent motor oil
curve and daily continuing calibration standards for motor oil, as well as method blanks
and laboratory control samples (LCS) and LCSD, and matrix spike (MS) and MSD for
motor, oil that meet quality control criteria. If sample chromatograms are submitted, they
must be accompanied by chromatograms for the associated continuing calibration
standard and method blank, all at the same scale as the sample chromatograms.
If you have any questions please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-3456 or by
electronic mail at vmccartney sicehd.com.
Donna Heran,REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Victoria L.
