the appropriate methods from Appendix I of 40 CFR Part 261. <br /> Laboratory methods must be those specified in Test Methods <br /> for Evaluating Solid Waste• Physical/Chemical Methods , <br /> SW-846, November 1986, or any later edition which may be <br /> published from time to time. If no laboratory method exists <br /> in this reference for one or more parameters which the <br /> Permittee is required to measure pursuant to this Permit, the <br /> Permittee shall use an appropriate method specified by <br /> Standard Methods of Wastewater Analysis, 16th edition, 1985, <br /> or any later editions which may be published from time to <br /> time; or an equivalent method approved by the Director. <br /> [40 CFR 270.30(j) (1)] <br /> 10. Reporting Planned Changes and Anticipated Noncompliance <br /> P. The Permittee shall give notice to the Director as soon as <br /> possible of any planned physical alterations or additions to <br /> the permitted facility or activity. 140 CFR 270.30(l) (1) ] <br /> b. The Permittee shall give advance written notice to the <br /> Director of any planned changes in the permitted facility or <br /> activity which may result in noncompliance with Permit <br /> requirements. [40 CFR 270.30(1) (2) ] <br /> 11. Certification of Construction or Modification <br /> Except as provided in 40 CFR 270.42, the Permittee may not store <br /> hazardous waste in a modified portion of Buildings 530 and/or 605 <br /> until the Permittee has submitted to the Director, by certified <br /> mail or hand delivery, a letter signed by the Permittee and a <br /> registered professional engineer stating that Buildings 530 <br /> and/or 605 has been modified in compliance with the Permit; and <br /> a. The Director has inspected the modified Buildings 530 and/or <br /> 605 and finds it is in compliance with the conditions of the <br /> Permit; or <br /> b. The Director has either waived the inspection or has not <br /> within 15 days notified the Permittee of his intent to <br /> inspect. [40 CFR 270.30(1) (2) ] <br /> 12. Twenty-Four (24) Hour Reporting <br /> The Permittee shall report to the Director any noncompliance with <br /> this Permit which may cause endangerment to human health or the <br /> environment. Any such information shall be reported verbally <br /> within twenty-four-(24) -hours from.the_time. the-Permittee_becomes ..: <br /> aware of the circumstances.. ._-_____ <br /> a. The twenty-four (24) hour verbal report shall include <br /> information concerning any release of hazardous waste which <br /> causes an actual or potential endangerment to public <br /> drinking water supplies. <br /> 12 <br />
